Safety Observation
- ·Raise SO in CMMS when found during shift.
Security Rounds:
- · Conduct regular security rounds of the plant, checking for unauthorized personnel or security breaches (this is part of normal structured round check).
Safety Check:
- · Conduct a thorough safety inspection of the assigned area, including equipment, PPE, and emergency exits.
- · Ensure all safety signage is visible and up-to-date.
Emergency Response
- · Respond to emergencies, such as equipment failures, fires, or spills.
PTW System
- · Issuing, reviewing, or verifying the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for maintenance and operational activities.
Equipment Line Up / LOTO
- · Perform LOTO, changeover or shutdown equipment. Isolate equipment for handover to maintenance.
Equipment Inspection:
- · Visually inspect critical equipment (pumps, valves, chillers, etc.) for any signs of damage, leaks, or abnormal operation.
- · Check lubrication levels and perform routine lubrication as needed.
Parameter Monitoring:
- Monitor key process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.)
System Startup:
- · Initiate the startup procedure for assigned systems, following established checklists and procedures.
System Shutdown:
- · If required, initiate the shutdown procedure for assigned systems, following established checklists and procedures.
Alarm & Event (A&E) Analysis
- · Refer to alarm screen at the equipment panel. Monitor and raise info to CCC Operators for any anomalies.
Shift Handover:
- · Prepare a detailed shift handover report, including any ongoing issues, maintenance requirements, and abnormal events.
- · Conduct a handover "shake-hand" handover meeting to ensure proper baton passing.
Plant Optimization
- · Work on optimizing plant performance by analyzing system data and making minor adjustments to improve efficiency or reduce energy consumption. Coordination with CCC Operators.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- · Respond to any alarms or alerts and take necessary corrective actions.
- · Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, replacing gaskets, or tightening bolts.
- · Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues, such as valve leaks or pump vibrations.
Defect Management
- · Raise SR (or relay the info to CCC Operator in charge) in CMMS according to the right priority.
Monitoring of Chemical Treatment Systems
- · Ensure that the water treatment system is operating correctly, monitoring chemical levels, and ensuring that water quality parameters are within specified limits.
Others and Extras
- · Provide information and update from the field to CCC Operator to maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Daily Operation Report (DOR).
- · Occasionally attend site visits by visitors or contractors.
- · Perform any other duty as assigned by the Plant Operations Supervisor
