Under the direction of Food & Beverage In-Charge.
Provide administrative, operational and secretarial support to the Food & Beverage department as well
as assistance to the In-Charge of the Food and Beverage with the daily operation and coordination of
the department.
Experience:
2-5 years job-related experience in multi-unit Food and Beverage or upscale hotel/restaurant.
Education:
Diploma/ Degree in Hotel Management
Other related professional qualifications
Advance level Education or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
Special Skills:
Demonstrated competence with Windows based software including Microsoft Office, Word,
Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel as well as time directs the work of associates.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Arabic language skills would be additional benefit.
Interview, selects and trains associate.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Able to maintain excellent V.I.P guest service skills and presence in the midst of a fast-paced,
changing environment.
Accurate typing/data entry and editing skills; keen eye for detail.
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Ability to understand the department service flow and communicate between the F&B InCharge, and team members.
Interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with management, vendors
and team members.
