BMS/IT Engineer diagnose computer problems, monitor computer processing systems, install software and perform tests on computer equipment and programs. BMS/IT Engineer may also set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and teach clients to use programs. Other job duties can include minor repairs and computer parts ordering.
BMS/IT Engineer need strong knowledge of computers and how they operate, which includes having a broad understanding of hardware and software, operating systems and basic computer programming. Familiarity with electronic equipment, Internet applications and security may also be required. BMS/IT Engineer may also need good communication skills because this position requires frequent interaction with clients. Overall responsibility of Building Management System / IT Engineer mainly focus on monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair. And by providing technical support/expertise in computer and BMS.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years software/technical experience. Minimum of 5 years handling Building management system. Background in design and construction is a plus. Knowledgeable in budget planning and monitoring
Education: Bachelor of Science, Diploma or University degree in Computer related course, or Mechanical preferred. Certification is a plus Comptia, CCNA, Certification is a plus.
