The CIS Coordinator assists the CIS Specialist and is responsible for coordinating with the concerned clinical staff in ensuring that the Clinical Information Systems design and implementation are consistent with professional standards of evidenced-based clinical practice.
Coordinate planning, system design, development, validations, training, implementation, support maintenance and evaluation of the Clinical Information system functional components as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
Essential Education: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college in the Health Sciences (Nursing, Medicine, allied Health etc.)
Preferred Education: Diploma certificate, Master’s in clinical informatics
Essential Experience:
- Non Physicians: Minimum 3 years clinical, allied Health or Health operational/Managerial experience.
- Physicians: 0 years with structure on job training program after joining HMC, approved by the Dept (entry level role for fresh Physicians, however, priority for Qataris).
Preferred Experience: In addition to essential experience Clinical Information Systems Implementation and Support (CERNER installations)
